Carmen Electra is set to appear on the cover of Playboy again, 30 years after her first feature in the magazine. The former Baywatch star, now 54, is currently shooting with the publication, though specific details of the pictorial have not been disclosed.
Electra first posed for Playboy in 1996, becoming an instant hit with readers. She returned for a nude pictorial in 1997 and made her first cover appearance in 2000. She has since graced the cover of the US edition two more times, most recently in 2009, as well as several international versions.
According to the Daily Mail, Electra had been in discussions with Playboy for the new shoot. The model and actress has continued to share paywalled content with fans in recent years, but this marks a return to her roots.
Electra is now among the most featured models in Playboy history, alongside Anna Nicole Smith and Pamela Anderson. She recently hinted at the collaboration by wearing a leopard-print Playboy bunny costume at The Abbey in West Hollywood.
