This figure is significantly lower than the UK House Price Index average for Scotland of £192,000, making it the most affordable option among the eight locations listed.
Peterhead's Attractions and Amenities
According to WorldAtlas, Peterhead is renowned for its seafood and maritime heritage. Highlights include the Peterhead Fish Market, one of the largest in Europe for whitefish and pelagic species, which holds an AA gold-standard rating from the British Retail Consortium. Other attractions include the Arc Cinema, featuring five screens and Monday subtitled screenings for the hard of hearing, and the Powerzone Strength Gym, suitable for both beginners and seasoned athletes. The Aberdeenshire Sailing Trust offers windsurfing courses and adult sailing on Peterhead Bay.
