Neale's Former Brisbane Home Sells for $3.2M After High-Profile Split

A dramatic chapter closed for Jules and Lachie Neale over the weekend as their former family residence in Brisbane's Seven Hills suburb sold at auction for an impressive $3.2 million. The sale marks the final step in the couple's much-publicised separation, which became headline news late last year.

Substantial Profit from Property Transaction

The five-bedroom home, originally purchased by the Neales for $2.43 million in July 2022, fetched $200,000 above its reserve price during Saturday's competitive auction. Between 60 and 70 prospective buyers attended the event, with what witnesses described as "fierce" bidding that commenced at $2.5 million.

Local couple Nick and Alana, parents to three young children, emerged as the successful purchasers of the property. While neither Jules nor Lachie were physically present at the auction, auctioneer Justin Nickerson confirmed that all parties involved expressed satisfaction with the final outcome.

Strong Market Interest in Seven Hills Property

Listing agent Sam McLeod reported consistently high interest throughout the marketing campaign, noting "great numbers through every open home and strong competition at the finish." McLeod emphasized that Seven Hills remains "very undervalued compared to surrounding suburbs," suggesting the area represents excellent value for property investors.

The contemporary residence boasts numerous premium features including:

  • Five bedrooms and three bathrooms
  • Swimming pool and entertainment deck
  • Spacious open-plan layout with soaring ceilings
  • Louvre windows throughout
  • Alfresco dining area with BBQ patio
  • Master suite with walk-in wardrobe, ensuite, and private balcony

From "Forever Home" to Fresh Starts

In a poignant contrast to the current situation, Lachie Neale had described the property to the Courier Mail in April 2023 as potentially being the family's "forever home." He remarked at the time, "We love this house... We can definitely see ourselves staying in Queensland and Brisbane."

The property sale coincided with Jules Neale's 36th birthday celebration on Friday, where the former WAG appeared to be embracing her new chapter. Photographs showed her radiant in a yellow dress during Perth celebrations with friends, complete with pink cake and balloons.

Separation Details and Moving Forward

Jules and Lachie Neale separated in November after Jules posted on Instagram about being "betrayed in the most unimaginable way." Lachie later acknowledged their split resulted from his actions, stating, "I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me."

Since the separation, Jules has relocated to Perth with their two children, four-year-old Piper and one-year-old Freddie. Recent social media activity suggests both parties are navigating their new reality as co-parents while pursuing individual paths forward.
