Liam Gallagher Buys £4.25m Cotswolds Mansion with Oasis Tour Earnings
Liam Gallagher buys £4.25m Cotswolds mansion

Rock legend Liam Gallagher has reportedly splashed a significant portion of his earnings from the blockbuster Oasis reunion tour on a stunning countryside retreat. The 52-year-old singer is believed to have purchased a lavish eight-bedroom mansion in the Cotswolds for a reported £4.25 million.

From Rock Stadiums to Countryside Seclusion

The impressive property, located near Cirencester in Gloucestershire, was sold by former Arsenal and England football captain Tony Adams. The 58-year-old sporting icon had owned the home for over two decades, having bought it for around £2 million shortly after retiring from his 19-year career. He appears to have secured a tidy profit on the sale.

Set within five acres of land, the estate offers the ultimate private escape. As well as the main house, the grounds feature stables, a two-bedroom cottage, a swimming pool, and tennis courts. A source told The Sun: 'Liam loves the countryside and the house is the perfect retreat following the mammoth Oasis tour.' They added that Gallagher's rescue dog, Buttons, was a key consideration, with the singer wanting 'plenty of outdoor space'.

A Home Fit for a Rock and Roll Host

Estate agents previously described the 'charming' main house as having 'the perfect blend of elegance, comfort and tranquility'. The interior boasts classic architecture with Cotswold charm, high ceilings, and period features. It is said to provide versatile entertainment spaces, including a cinema and a games room.

Interestingly, the games room still contained Adams's Arsenal memorabilia, including team photos and his famous number 6 shirt, alongside a pool table, table tennis, and a drum kit. The source also noted that Gallagher, who loves to host, is 'looking forward to welcoming friends and family to the home'.

Tour Success Fuels Property Move

Gallagher's reported purchase follows the hugely successful Oasis reunion tour with his brother Noel this year, which saw the band sell out stadiums globally. Just last month, Liam declared on social media that the tour had 'saved my life', stating he had made lifestyle sacrifices for the sake of the fans.

This is not Gallagher's first foray into the Gloucestershire property market. Last year, he rented a Downton Abbey-style mansion with his fiancée Debbie Gwyther for a reported £19,000 a month ahead of the tour. That Grade II-listed property has since been listed for sale at £6 million.

During his previous stay in the Cotswolds, Gallagher's neighbours included David and Victoria Beckham, Simon Cowell, and Amanda Holden. Representatives for Liam Gallagher have been contacted for comment regarding the latest property acquisition.
