Hellas Verona have placed a £13million price tag on striker Kieron Bowie to deter interest from Serie A clubs following the club's relegation to Serie B. Manager Marco Baroni has reportedly urged the club's hierarchy that the Scotland international is too vital to sell this summer.
Bowie's Value Doubles Despite Relegation
Bowie, 23, joined Verona from Hibernian for £5.5million in January 2025. Despite the club's drop to the second tier, his value has more than doubled, according to Verona. The striker made a significant impact in Serie A last season, scoring against Inter Milan, Juventus, Torino, and Bologna.
Serie A Clubs Circle
Bologna, Cagliari, and Sassuolo have all shown interest. Bologna are keen after Bowie scored against them, while Sassuolo want him to link up with compatriot Josh Doig. Celtic have also been credited with interest. Reports in Italy indicate Baroni has intervened to block a sale, and the club hopes the hefty price tag will scare off suitors.
