Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan is reportedly purchasing a £1.7million farm in Derbyshire. The 25-year-old is said to be planning a new life at the sprawling property with her farmer boyfriend.
The 25-year-old, who won over viewers during her brief stint on Jeremy Clarkson's hit Amazon Prime series, is preparing to branch out with a 100-acre property in the Derbyshire countryside.
New Home and New Venture
According to the Daily Mail, Harriet is planning to make the new premises her home alongside her farmer boyfriend, James Booth. The farm is understood to be close to the family farm where Harriet first learned her trade. The property was reportedly put on the market for £1,765,000 after its previous owner died last year, with the sale said to be almost complete.
The purchase marks a significant step for Harriet, who has seen her profile soar since appearing on Clarkson's Farm.
Rising Star on Clarkson's Farm
She joined the show for its fourth season, which was released on Prime Video across May and June last year, temporarily stepping in for fan favourite Kaleb Cooper while he was away touring. Harriet headed to Jeremy's Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, to help the former Top Gear presenter with the day-to-day challenges of running his farming business.
Although her time on the programme was relatively short, she quickly made an impression on fans. She eventually left midway through the series when her help was no longer required. Since then, Harriet's popularity has continued to grow, with the young farmer building a huge following across several social media platforms.
Inspiring Younger Women
Her growing public profile has also brought plenty of attention from admirers online. Speaking to The Telegraph recently, Harriet revealed that she regularly receives messages from men hoping to win her over.
She said: "I must get about a thousand DMs a day and probably 50 per cent are just men being like, 'I wish I could marry you.' But it's all fun and games. The other 50 per cent are young girls seeing me farming and thinking, 'I'd like to do what she does.' And they're who I do it for."
The comments highlight how Harriet's popularity stretches beyond the usual celebrity attention, with her farming career inspiring younger women who want to follow a similar path.
Next Steps in Farming Journey
Her appearance on Clarkson's Farm introduced her to a much wider audience, but the 25-year-old has continued to pursue her agricultural ambitions away from the cameras. Now, with the reported purchase of the Derbyshire property, Harriet appears ready to take another major step in her farming journey.
The new venture could give her more room to develop her own plans while remaining close to the family roots that helped shape her career.
