Unclaimed $40M Powerball Boosts Next Jackpot to $60M

The $40 million Powerball jackpot has gone unclaimed, boosting next week's prize to $60 million. There was no Division One winner for Thursday night's Powerball draw 1566.

No Powerball jackpot prize has been won since April 23. The winning numbers this week were: 1, 13, 15, 16, 29, 32 and 34, with a Powerball of 6.

The $40 million jackpot will instead roll over to next week's draw 1567, making it the second-largest prize of any Australian lottery in 2026.

There were two Division Two winners for Thursday's game—one in South Australia and one in New South Wales. Each took home $369,858.25. Additionally, 59 Division Three winners each received $15,507.

This news comes as Australian Powerball players approach the $9 billion mark for total Division One prizes claimed. Between the first Powerball game on May 23, 1996, and this Thursday, May 21, Division One winners collectively took home $8,975,858,948.18.

A jackpot win this week would have marked the $9 billion milestone on the game's 30th anniversary.
