The November Premium Bonds prize draw has brought two £100,000 wins to Wales, along with several £50,000 prizes for savers in the region.
One winner from the Mid and South West Wales region claimed £100,000 with Bond 534AG096581, purchased in March 2023 when they bought £10,000 in Bonds. They held £38,000 in total going into the draw.
The other £100,000 prize for Wales went to a customer from North Wales with Bond 273WS989912, bought in May 2016 when they invested £5,000. They held the maximum £50,000 entering the draw.
Loyal savers rewarded
A long-time Bond holder from South East Wales won £10,000 for a Bond bought in July 1978, nearly 50 years ago. This saver held just £99 in Bonds going into the draw.
Another South East Wales saver with £600 in total Bonds won £5,000. Their winning Bond, 670RP267882, was bought in April 2026 with a £25 investment, the lowest amount allowed when purchasing Bonds.

Each £1 Bond in the draw has the same chance of winning, with odds currently at 21,000 to one. The annual prize fund rate is 4.35 per cent.
70th anniversary marked
This month marks 70 years since Premium Bonds first went on sale in November 1956. NS&I retail director Andrew Westhead said: "Seventy years ago in November 1956, the first Premium Bonds went on sale, marking the beginning of what has become one of the nation’s best-loved savings products."
He added: "It's fantastic to celebrate this milestone with two new millionaires and generations of savers who continue to enjoy the excitement of checking if they have won tax-free prizes each month."
The two £1 million winners in the November draw were from Outer London and Shropshire, with two £1 million prizes available each month. The full list of high value winners is available on the NS&I website, and in June 2027 the scheme will mark 70 years since the first prizes were won.
