Michael Jordan to Earn Millions from PSG's Champions League Win

Michael Jordan is set to receive a significant financial windfall following Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League triumph over Arsenal. The NBA legend's sponsorship deal with the French club entitles him to a percentage of merchandise sales, which are expected to surge after the victory.

PSG became the first team in eight years to successfully defend the Champions League title, beating Arsenal on penalties after a 1-1 draw. The win is likely to boost sales of PSG jerseys and other merchandise, benefiting Jordan, whose 'Jumpman' brand has sponsored the club since 2018.

Under the terms of his royalties agreement with Nike, Jordan receives five per cent of all merchandise sold bearing his logo. This has already generated substantial income, and the latest European success is expected to increase sales further.

Fanatics, PSG's exclusive merchandising operator, reported a 4,200 per cent spike in sales in the 12 hours following the club's 2025 final win over Inter Milan. Similarly, when Lionel Messi joined PSG in 2021, 832,000 jerseys were sold in the first 24 hours, generating approximately £130 million in revenue, with Jordan's cut amounting to around £6.5 million.

Jordan, now a minority owner of the Charlotte Hornets, will hope PSG's dominance continues under manager Luis Enrique, ensuring a steady stream of income from the partnership.
