Loic Fery's Career in Finance
Loic Fery graduated from HEC Paris, one of Europe's most prestigious business schools. Between 1997 and 2007, he worked as a financial trader in Hong Kong and London, specializing in credit derivatives and structured credit for Societe Generale and Credit Agricole. In 2007, he founded Chenavari Investment Managers, a London-based hedge fund that grew to manage over $5 billion in assets.
Football Club Ownership
In 2009, Loic Fery acquired French football club FC Lorient, serving as its president. The club spent 14 seasons in Ligue 1 before he sold his ownership stake in early 2026, though he remains president.
