A 71-year-old pastry chef has died following a horrific accident involving an industrial bread-making machine at his workplace in the United States.

Mordehay Grunberger, affectionately known as 'Miki', was caught in the machinery at the South Florida Kosher Market in North Miami Beach, Florida. The incident is believed to have occurred in the early hours of Friday, January 16, although police were not alerted until approximately eight hours later.
Authorities have confirmed they are treating the death as accidental, stating there are no immediate signs of foul play. The North Miami Beach Police reported the incident involved an industrial dough mixer at the grocery store where Grunberger worked as the head pastry chef.

Grunberger's wife, Inna Gastman Maor, has spoken publicly of her profound loss, describing her husband of 30 years as "the love of my life". In emotional posts on social media following his funeral on January 19, she expressed her devastation, writing: "I lost myself. I love him so much... I cannot imagine life without him!"
The couple, who shared two sons, were together for three decades. Inna's tributes were accompanied by family photographs, highlighting happier times now overshadowed by tragedy. Friends and community members also shared memories, recalling a man with a "noble heart" and a wonderful personality.
