Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities include welcoming guests and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for, taking orders and serving food, and promoting and upselling menu items like daily specials and desserts. The team member will also uphold health and food hygiene standards.
The role involves maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar, preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and presenting knowledge and passion for food and wine, including recommending pairings to enhance guest experiences.
Duties and requirements
Other duties include ensuring tables, cutlery, and service areas are always guest-ready, and supporting smooth-running service by working together with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of dishes. Handling guest requests and feedback with confidence and care is also required.
Applicants should have a real interest in food, wine, and hospitality, as well as good communication skills and a friendly attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
