Mum funds £5k Christmas haul with OnlyFans earnings, buys 50 presents for kids
Mum buys 50 Christmas presents with OnlyFans money

A mother from Aberdeen has revealed how she is funding an extravagant Christmas for her family, complete with 50 presents for her two children, thanks to her earnings from the content subscription platform OnlyFans.

From Bin Man's Wage to £10k a Month

Laura Whyte, 32, started her OnlyFans journey after her husband heard about the platform on the radio and suggested she "take a shot at it." What began as an experiment has transformed the family's finances. Laura now earns up to £10,000 a month, which she says is triple the salary of her husband, who works as a bin collector.

This substantial income shift has allowed the family to move into a paid-off house and approach the festive season without the usual financial strain. "I don't have to worry about money anymore," Laura stated, highlighting the security and confidence the work has given her.

A Lavish Christmas Funded by Online Work

This year, Laura has allocated a whopping £5,000 for Christmas, ensuring her 14-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter will have 25 presents each to open. The haul includes major gifts like a new virtual reality set for her son and a brand-new bike for her daughter.

"They both have two big main presents they will be shocked because they have wanted them for years," she said. The rest of the gifts are described as "little bits and bobs." The family has also invested hundreds of pounds in decorations over recent years, creating a fully kitted-out festive home.

Family Support and Lack of Guilt

Despite the unconventional source of the holiday funds, Laura says she feels no guilt. She has been open with her teenage son about her work. "My eldest is now 14 and knows I do OnlyFans. He is very supportive of me," she explained. "They don't see it as a bad job; they just see it as money coming in." Her younger daughter is currently too young to understand.

The financial freedom has changed their Christmas experience entirely. "We don't even have to save to get them presents, or think about how to afford all the other bits in Christmas like the dinner," Laura noted, though she added they have "calmed down" on festive food spending this year after splashing out around £600 in previous years.

Reflecting on her decision to join the platform, Laura called it "one of the best decisions I ever made." She concluded, "Life has been a lot less stressful since I have been on OnlyFans. I seem to be making even more now. I love it. I can't believe it's doing so well!"
