Palmer's Dip and Foden's Slump
Palmer's second season under Maresca saw over 20 goals and assists in the league, but his form fell away in the following campaign. Maresca's Challenge at City
Foden reports for pre-season on July 20 as Maresca begins preparations. Maresca would have preferred Foden to be at the World Cup, but the extended break allows maximum time to work on his game. If Maresca can restore Foden to his best, it would significantly ease his task at City.
