Manchester Airport Jobs Fair Set for November 3 with 300 Roles

Manchester Airport has confirmed that a jobs fair will take place next month, with around 300 vacancies available across Manchester Airport Group (MAG). MAG, which owns and operates Manchester Airport as well as East Midlands and London Stansted Airports, will advertise roles in airport security, hospitality, and terminal operations.

Event Details and Participating Employers

The free event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 3, at The Forum in Wythenshawe, running from 10am to 2pm. It will connect jobseekers with employers operating across Manchester Airport, including Accessorize, DHL, and Pret A Manger, among others. Additional positions range from ground handling and passenger assistance to retail, catering, construction, recruitment, logistics, and aviation support services.

Organisers are urging attendees to book tickets in advance, with free tickets available online. Jobseekers are encouraged to bring copies of their CV and be prepared to speak directly with recruiting employers.

MAG's Commitment to Local Employment

Tina Edwards, People Director at Manchester Airport, said: "As one of the region's largest employers, we're proud to work alongside our partners to create opportunities for local people – and the aviation industry is a particularly exciting one to work in."

She added: "This jobs fair is a fantastic chance for jobseekers to meet employers face-to-face, learn more about the wide variety of roles available at the airport and take the next step in developing their careers. With around 300 vacancies at the moment, there are opportunities for people with a wide range of skills and experience."

Edwards concluded: "We want Manchester Airport to be one of the best places in the world to travel from, and if you've got the passion and drive to help us make that happen, we'd love to see you at this event."
