Manchester City have received confirmed dates and kick-off times for their opening Premier League matches of the 2026-27 season, with two fixtures moved for live television coverage on Sky Sports.
Opening day clash set
The Blues already knew their season opener against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium would take place on Sunday, August 23, with a 2pm kick-off. This marks City's first home start to a league campaign in a decade.
Two fixtures moved for TV
The first Manchester derby of the season at Old Trafford has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 13, with a 4.30pm kick-off. The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
City's trip to Crystal Palace will now take place on Friday, August 28, with an 8pm kick-off, also shown live on Sky Sports.
Remaining September fixtures
City's other two September Premier League fixtures remain as Saturday 3pm kick-offs. Frank Lampard's Coventry City visit the Etihad on September 5, followed by Sunderland on September 19.
