Roles are being advertised in locations including Darlington, Billingham, Hartlepool, Stockton, and Middlesbrough. The recruitment drive comes as Aldi announced plans to create around 3,000 new jobs ahead of the festive period.
Store and warehouse positions
The business is looking to fill over 2,000 temporary and permanent store positions to provide additional customer assistance and replenish stock. Vacancies include Assistant Store Manager roles in Teesside, Billingham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar, Skelton, Thornaby, and Yarm, with salaries ranging from £38,525 to £45,420 pro rata.
Store Manager positions are available in Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, and Teesside, offering salaries between £52,910 and £69,000 pro rata. A Retail Management Placement in the Darlington region offers a salary of £30,000 on a fixed-term contract.
Warehouse and specialist roles
Warehouse positions at the Darlington Distribution Centre include Warehouse Operations Assistant roles paying £12.90 per hour, and Selector roles with hourly rates ranging from £14.58 to £18.23, depending on shift. A Selector (Nights) role pays £18.23 per hour, while twilight and ambient shifts pay between £14.58 and £18.23 per hour.
Area Manager roles in the Darlington region offer salaries up to £98,050.
