Nurse Skips Meals to Feed Children Amid Cost of Living Crisis

A part-time nurse from Leicester has revealed she skips meals to ensure her three children have enough to eat, as the rising cost of living pushes her to breaking point.

Rebeccah, who works for the NHS, told BBC Panorama that she cannot afford sufficient food for herself and her children, so she sometimes goes without. She has also resorted to accepting donated groceries from neighbours to cope.

Her story is featured in Panorama’s ‘Surviving the Cost of Living Crisis’, airing on BBC One at 20:00 on Monday 11 April and available on iPlayer.
