London Marathon 2026: Freebies for Runners and Supporters

The 2026 London Marathon is set to attract a record number of participants and spectators, and high street brands are offering an array of freebies and discounts to celebrate. From complimentary drinks to discounted meals and even cruise offers, both runners and their supporters can take advantage of these perks.

Free Drinks for Runners

After crossing the finish line, runners can quench their thirst with free beverages at various London pubs. All Castle Pubs in London, including 29 locations in Central London such as The Railway Lee at Blackheath and Spaniards in Hampstead, will offer a free pint of Camden Hells to anyone showing their medal. All Bar One at the Tower of London is also providing a free Limoncello Spritz to medal-wearing runners.

Miznon in Soho invites runners to participate in a post-marathon ritual called "Sweat, Dip, Sip," where proof of the run earns free hummus and a cold beer. Kolamba on Carnaby Street rewards finishers with a free Lion Lager or glass of bubbles when dining in with their medal. Duck & Rice in Soho offers a free beer to medal holders and welcomes runners throughout the day to relax.

Food Offers for Refuelling

Carb-loading doesn't stop after the race. Pasta Evangelist restaurants will give a free bowl of pasta to anyone showing their medal or race bib on Sunday. Pastaio in Soho offers medal holders a complimentary plate of pasta (excluding lobster linguine) on race day. Farmer J’s provides 50% off Fieldtrays at their Piccadilly and Regent Street farms for medal holders, while the Marylebone store offers £5 Fieldbowls to runners presenting their medals.

Perks for Supporters

Friends and family who endure hours of cheering can also enjoy rewards. City Cruises offers a 30% discount for London Marathon supporters when booking online with the code marathon30. Peloton Studios London provides free coffee and signmaking materials from 9am on Sunday, before the race starts. Supporters can then head to the Peloton Cheer Zone at mile 25 along Embankment.

Uber Eats and Boots have collaborated to launch a "Supporter Survival Kit" priced at £10, with a reported value of £100. The kit includes essentials such as a Deep Tissue Massage Gun, sunscreen, Wellthy electrolytes, Grenade Bars, and signmaking materials.
