Arsenal Fan Gets Epic Man City Result Mid-Flight from easyJet Crew

An Arsenal supporter has heaped praise on easyJet cabin crew after they helped him discover the fate of his team's Premier League title rivals, Manchester City, while he was mid-flight. Passenger Aamir was airborne during City's crucial match against Bournemouth, a game the Citizens needed to win to prevent Arsenal from clinching their first league championship since 2004.

Unable to use his mobile phone to check the score, Aamir turned to easyJet staff for assistance, who promptly came to his rescue. In a social media post, he wrote: 'Shoutout the staff on easyJet flight 8746 into Gatwick last night. I asked if there was any way I could find out the City result during the flight and they came through. Champions.'

Indeed, second-placed Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium, sparking celebrations for Arsenal and Aamir as the Gunners were crowned Premier League champions.

Aamir shared an image of a printout from the easyJet crew, noting he was at 35,000 feet with no WiFi when he received the note from an easyJet Operations Senior named Ryan. The message read: 'Hello, Chelsea is currently 2-1 vs Spurs, 15 mins left.' As for the crucial update, it continued: 'City game ended 1-1 meaning Arsenal Champions. Cheers.'

In a follow-up post, Aamir revealed he had framed the printed note to commemorate the occasion. The story quickly went viral, with social media users applauding the airline's exceptional service. One X user declared: 'That's some dedication to customer service. Dare I say, above and beyond.' Another commented: 'As customer service goes on no frills airlines that's actually incredible!' A third quipped: 'easyJet customer service casually delivering life-changing information at 35,000 feet.'

One follower even suggested Aamir could capitalise on the idea, writing: 'You should probably patent this, get it on a production line quickly and market it to Arsenal fans. There's an opportunity for you to make thousands out of this.'
