The biggest party of the summer is here. WWE Summerslam 2026 takes place across Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. UK fans can watch live on Netflix, with coverage starting at 11pm BST each night. A standard Netflix subscription costs £5.99 per month and can be cancelled at any time.
Now in its 39th year, Summerslam debuted on August 29, 1988, and ranks alongside WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and Money in the Bank as one of WWE's flagship Premium Live Events. Over the years it has delivered iconic moments, including the British Bulldog's Intercontinental Championship win over Bret Hart at Wembley Stadium and Brock Lesnar's dominant victory over John Cena in 2014. Lesnar has a long history at the event, winning his first singles title there in 2002 against The Rock and later clashing with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Triple H and The Undertaker.
Night one: Punk vs. Rhodes and Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
Night one is headlined by CM Punk defending the undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. In another marquee bout, Brock Lesnar faces Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell. The two have split their two encounters this year, with wins at WrestleMania 42 and Clash in Italy, making this a deciding rubber match.
The women's world championship is also on the line, as Liv Morgan makes her first defence since beating Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania. She takes on Iyo Sky, who won the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions in June and chose Morgan as her opponent.
Elsewhere on night one, Gunther faces Nick Aldis, who makes his WWE in-ring debut as SmackDown general manager. Jacob Fatu teams with The Usos against Solo Sikoa, LA Knight and Royce Keys, while The Bella Twins and Paige take on Fatal Influence.
