Katie Price Buys £2,021 Pomsky Puppy in Dubai

Katie Price and Lee Andrews have become the owners of a new Pomsky puppy in Dubai, spending 9,800 Dirhams (£2,021) on the hybrid dog. The purchase comes just days after one of Price's Sphynx cats died under her care, sparking criticism from fans over her treatment of animals.

Price Announces 'Baby Boy' on Facebook

The 48-year-old former glamour model posted a video on Facebook showing the couple signing paperwork at World of Pets in Dubai. In the clip, Price says: 'Just like we signed for marriage, we signed for a baby boy because we've got no kids. This is our little boy.' Andrews, heard in the background, agrees and calls them 'co-owners of this little baby boy.'

The paperwork revealed the purchase price, and Price rushed off to see the puppy in the shop after signing.

Fans React with Concern and Criticism

Social media users were stunned by the announcement. One commenter wrote: 'She absolutely bonkers. Who’s gonna look after it when you return to the uk and you’re husbands back in jail?' Another added: 'I thought it was a rescue? You paid over £2,000!' A third said: 'Lost the plot!'

Concerns were also raised about the suitability of the breed. One viewer noted: 'Dreadful, huskies are far too much for you.' Another questioned: 'That's meant to be a Husky Pomeranian cross! Looks very big, how are you planning to take care of it with no permanent home yet?'

Cat Death and Missing Pets

Last week, Andrews revealed in a Cameo video that one of Price's Sphynx cats had died. He said: 'I love dogs, I love cats, I love animals. So does Kate, so we share that empathy. She's got five Sphynxes, actually. One has just passed away. Sorry, eight Sphynxes, five dogs.'

Price also reported that two other Sphynx cats, Eileen and Doris, went missing from her home. She wrote on Facebook: 'I came to Dubai Wednesday and my cats were home Tuesday night, I live in a private area and my cats don't just disappear. Whoever has them, return them, they are my babies.' She urged anyone with information to contact Arun Vets in Storrington, West Sussex.
