Bachelor In Paradise viewers were left uncomfortable after a lengthy, audible kiss between Zoe O'Brien and Mack Reid aired on Wednesday night. The pair locked lips for 30 seconds without any background music, amplifying the sounds of the smooch.
Fans took to Twitter to complain, describing the kiss as 'sloppy', 'gross', and 'too much'. One viewer wrote, 'There were way too many mouth noises involved in that kiss with Mack and Zoe.' Another joked the noise would become 'the soundtrack of my nightmares'.
Zoe initiated the kiss to test their chemistry, saying, 'We can either sit here and go 'yep, there's no spark here. We're just friends, whatever' or actually have a red-hot crack at it.' Mack agreed, and after the kiss remarked, 'That was unexpected. You are full of surprises. You are very good, thank you. Well done!'
Despite the steamy moment, both agreed there was no chemistry and left the show single. American intruders Alex Bordyukov and Caroline Lunny also chose to leave ahead of the finale.
