O2 is giving away thousands of free Greggs breakfasts through its Priority rewards app throughout October. Eligible customers can claim a breakfast roll and hot drink on weekdays until October 30.
How the Greggs Deal Works
The offer is available to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers who use Priority. Members can choose any single-filling roll for free, including sausage, bacon, or omelette. The deal, which usually starts at £2.85, also includes an orange juice or a regular hot drink, such as a flat white, latte, or cappuccino.
To claim, customers need to download the Priority app and activate the code through their account. The code can then be redeemed in-store for the breakfast meal deal.
Why O2 Is Offering the Freebies
O2 said the deal coincides with a time when people start skipping breakfast as darker mornings disrupt eating habits. A spokesperson said: "The return of dark mornings makes getting out of bed that little bit harder for many of us."
They added: "With our research showing that breakfast is often the first thing to be sacrificed when the clocks change, and almost a quarter of people (23%) admitting they don't give themselves enough time before they need to leave the house, O2's Greggs reward on Priority is the perfect pick-me-up."
Other October Rewards
Customers can take advantage of several other deals throughout October, including 48-hour presales and ticket giveaways. Members can also win a full-size pack of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or a Halloween Pumpkin Biscuit from Biscuiteers, and get a free 140g bag of Swizzels Squashies Cherry Cola delivered to their door.
