North East Postcode Lottery winners: five areas land £1,000

Residents in five North East areas have each won £1,000 in this week's Postcode Lottery draws. The winning postcodes were selected between Saturday, October 3rd and Friday, October 9th, with Westerhope, Peterlee and Sunderland city among the areas celebrating.

How the Postcode Lottery works

Players pay £12.50 per month, using their full home postcode as their entry. At least 30% of the ticket price goes directly to charities and local community projects.

To date, players have raised more than £1.8 billion for thousands of good causes in Britain and internationally. This funding supports charities including Maggie's, Alzheimer’s Society, Dogs Trust, Mind and NSPCC, as well as thousands of small local community projects.

  • Sunday 04/10/26 – SR4 0HQ, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
