Morrisons is urging shoppers to check their Morrisons More app or website for a new loyalty offer that gives selected customers 10% back when they spend £250 before June 30. The promotion is part of the Morrisons More loyalty scheme and is only available to invited members.
How the Offer Works
Eligible shoppers need to scan their More Card when shopping in-store or ensure it is linked to their online account. Spending is tracked automatically, and customers can monitor progress through the app, website, or receipts. Multiple purchases count towards the £250 target, meaning shoppers do not need to complete one large shop. Morrisons confirmed: "You can shop as little and as often as you like to build up your total, this includes any shops you do both in-store and online as long as you scan your Morrisons More card with each transaction." Online purchases are added to the running total up to 72 hours after delivery.
Reward and Redemption
Once the £250 spend is reached, a voucher worth 10% of the qualifying spend will be added to the 'My Offers' section of the customer's account within 72 hours. The voucher must be activated before it can be redeemed in-store or online. The offer is only open to selected More Card members, who can check for an invitation on the app or website homepage.
Additional Innovation: AI Shopping Trolleys
In related news, Morrisons has begun trialling AI-powered shopping trolleys called Caper Carts at its Riversway store in Preston. These trolleys feature touchscreens, cameras, sensors, and built-in scales that automatically identify items as they are placed inside, allowing real-time tracking of the shopping total.
