The draw, which took place at 8pm, offered a life-changing sum that could allow the winner to quit their job, travel the world, pay off debts, and support friends, family, and charitable causes.
In addition to the Lotto, the Thunderball draw at 8.15pm offered a £500,000 top prize. The winning Thunderball numbers were 4, 12, 20, 26, and 36, with the Thunderball being 13.
Each Lotto play costs £2, and the game raises approximately £30 million each week for good causes across the UK. Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 8pm.
