Free £15 gift card for A-level results day with TopCashback deal
Free £15 gift card for A-level results day with TopCashback deal

A-level results day has arrived, and a little-known deal offers the chance to get a free gift voucher for hardworking students. The One4All Digital Gift Card can be used in-store or online with hundreds of retailers, and there is a way to effectively get one for free if shoppers spend a specific amount.

How the TopCashback deal works

Deals website TopCashback is offering new customers £15 cashback on purchases above £15. This means that if customers sign up and then buy a One4All Digital Gift Card through the site with a £15 balance, it will work out at no cost once the cashback is factored in. For existing members of TopCashback, a £15 One4All Digital Gift Card works out at £14.34 after cashback.

Students can celebrate their results by treating themselves to a day out with their voucher, whether they go and see the latest blockbuster at an Odeon, Cineworld or Vue cinema, or head to one of the many restaurants that a One4All card can be spent at. Favourites include Wagamama, Yo! Sushi, Nando's, Pizza Express, Miller & Carter Steakhouse and Las Iguanas.

Where the gift card can be spent

Alternatively, recipients can hit the high street for some retail therapy or to stock up on some university essentials, with the gift card also valid at the likes of Primark, New Look, River Island, Boots, M&S and TK Maxx. It's worth bearing in mind that while a One4All Digital Gift Card does not have a traditional expiry date, a monthly charge of 90p begins 18 months after purchase until the card balance reaches zero, so recipients will want to ensure that they spend it within the first year and a half.

It's free for shoppers to sign up to and use TopCashback - retailers pay TopCashback commission for referrals to their website, which is then passed on to customers as cashback. And the money-saving tool comes approved by customers, having earned an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars on Trustpilot based on more than 160,000 reviews.

Step-by-step guide to get the deal

New members sign up for an account on the TopCashback website using this link. Search for One4All and click 'Get Cashback Now'. Shop and check out as usual. Cashback will then track and appear in your TopCashback account within seven working days of your purchase. The cashback will become payable, and available to withdraw and spend, after One4All has paid TopCashback the commission for your purchase.

One4All isn't the only gift card that can be spent at multiple retailers. A different option is Love2Shop, which offers both digital and physical gift cards or vouchers that can be spent with more than 160 popular brands, while another alternative is Lifestyle Gift Cards, which are eligible to be used at over 500 retailers and websites.

Meanwhile, a One4All customer wrote in a five-star review on Trustpilot: "It is really helpful that a digital gift card is available to send to friends and family, to make it a quick and easy experience, and they receive the gift immediately, rather than having to send it through the post." Another praised: "Easy to order a digital gift card and send it with a message to their phone, saves searching for a physical card and great choice of places to spend." A third said: "Really easy to send a digital card via mobile phone. No chance of getting 'lost in the post'. Ideal present for anyone, but especially hard to buy for teenagers." And someone else echoed: "Perfect gift for a teenager who wants to enjoy spending in various shops."

However, some customers said they found the gift card complicated to purchase or use, with one feedback: "The recipient of the card said that a digital card was less easy to use than a physical card. Her phone is not compatible with the One4all app, so it was more difficult to spend the digital card." While a different reviewer remarked: "Website was a little confusing and the limit of £120 restricted the amount I wanted to give."
