Dunkin' is set to release its viral 48-ounce cold beverage buckets across the United States this Friday, May 22, just in time for Memorial Day Weekend. The chain initially tested the oversized drink containers in select Massachusetts and New Hampshire stores in February, where customers could purchase a coffee bucket starting at $8.99 or a refresher for $9.49.
Now, the coffee giant is bringing back its largest drink size nationwide, with participating stores offering only 25 buckets each. Customers ordering an iced coffee or refresher can have it served in the 48-ounce bucket for $12.99. The collectible containers come with a unique lid and straw, but cannot be refilled at Dunkin' locations.
Dunkin' fans have expressed excitement on social media, with one Instagram user writing, 'YESSS YES YESSSSSS I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!' Another joked, 'I can't wait to show up to my therapy session with this,' while a third added, 'This is incredible, looking forward to trying this.'
The beverage buckets are part of Dunkin's summer menu, which also includes the new Dunkin' Dirty Soda—a blend of Pepsi, coffee milk, and sweet cold foam—as well as Black Cherry refreshers and an Oreo-themed line-up of espresso, matcha, and frozen drinks. In January, the brand launched its first Protein Milk, offering 15 grams of protein per medium beverage, alongside protein-packed drinks like the Strawberry Protein Refresher and Caramel Chocolate Iced Protein Latte.
