EastEnders viewers have developed a new theory regarding the identity of the pregnant woman seen in Max Branning's bed during the New Year's Day flashforward. While earlier speculation suggested the woman might be Chelsea Fox, Priya Nandra-Hart, or Stacey Slater, with Max as the father, some fans now believe the real father is Oscar Branning and the woman is his girlfriend, Jasmine Fisher.
One fan commented: "Jas is very much the pregnant woman in Max's bed but the baby is Oscar's." Another added that the "vibes" from the interaction between Max and the woman suggested a friendly relationship rather than a romantic one, saying: "The vibes from the woman in the bed just gives friends, they don’t sleep in a loving way and the knock before peaking in the shower it’s all very innocent."
