Baby Snack Recalled Over Mould: 'Do Not Eat'

A popular baby food product has been urgently recalled from shelves due to the potential presence of mould. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a recall notice for a range of Organic Baby Fromage Frais from Glenisk, warning that the products may be unfit for human consumption.

Affected Products

The recall applies to the following Glenisk Organic Baby Fromage Frais items:

  • Mango with apple, banana and oats (4x60g, use by 28/05/2026)
  • Strawberry with banana, vanilla and oats (4x60g, use by 28/05/2026)
  • Apple, pear, carrot with oats (4x60g, use by 28/05/2026)

The FSA stated: 'These products may contain mould which makes them unfit for human consumption.' Consumers who have purchased any of these items are advised not to eat them and to dispose of them immediately.

What to Do

Glenisk has asked customers to discard affected products and contact them at info@glenisk.com to arrange a replacement. Retailers have also been instructed to remove the affected batches from sale.

The FSA explained that food products with problems may be withdrawn or recalled. Withdrawn items are removed from shelves, while recalled products require customers to return them.
