Gamers can access over 40,000 video games for as little as £11.41 by combining two separate deals. The 4K HDMI Retro Game Console is currently listed on Wowcher at £22.99, reduced from £39.99, while TopCashback offers cashback that brings the effective price down further.
How the Deal Works
The Wowcher discount represents a 43% reduction on the console's original price. For shoppers who are new to TopCashback, the cashback brings the total cost to £11.41, including £3.99 for standard delivery. Existing TopCashback members will receive a lesser cashback amount, resulting in a final price of £26.41.
The offer is available to both new and existing Wowcher customers. However, only those not already registered with TopCashback qualify for the lower price.
Console Features and Game Library
The 4K HDMI Retro Game Console, manufactured by Oberobiz, is described as a 'plug-and-play' device with over 40,000 classic titles built in. It requires no additional downloads and supports more than 20 emulators, according to the retailer.
The console comes with two wireless controllers featuring 360-degree joysticks and 'sensitive' trigger buttons. Setup involves connecting the power and HDMI cables to a television before play can begin.
Alternative Gaming Options
For those preferring a larger, well-known brand, the Nintendo Switch 2 is available on Amazon at a reduced price of £371, down from £419.99. The console supports the brand's latest titles and can be used as a handheld or connected to a television.
Alternatively, the Nex Playground is available on Amazon for £269.99. This console uses a video camera to encourage children to stay active while playing licensed games from popular children's franchises.
There are no customer reviews for the Oberobiz 4K HDMI Retro Game Console, and shoppers should note that it focuses on classic titles. The included controllers lack haptic feedback found on rival devices, such as those from Sony.
To secure the console for £11.41 via TopCashback, shoppers need to sign up to TopCashback, search for Wowcher and click 'Get Cashback Now', then shop and checkout as usual.
