British Couple Shocked by €10 Tapas and Sangria Deal in Benidorm
€10 Tapas and Sangria Deal Shocks British Couple in Benidorm

A British couple visiting Benidorm were left floored after ordering tapas and a jug of sangria for just €10 (£8.65) between them. Jack, known online as 'Jackeatseverything', and his partner Jas documented their meal at Zodiac House on TikTok, where the deal includes six tapas and a litre of sangria for two people.

The €10 Deal That Stunned the Couple

In the video, Jack explained: "We are in Benidorm and we are heading to a place called Zodiac House. And apparently they do like a litre of sangria and loads of tapas for something mental like €10 between two of you, €5 each. Let's go check it out." The menu offers six tapas for €9, or €10 with a jug of sangria. Jas noted the sangria came in a proper wine glass, unlike a previous restaurant that served it in an Amstel glass.

Tapas Selection and Reactions

The couple chose from a list of dishes on the wall, including bread with cheese and chili jam, a ham and cheese roll, a croquette, chorizo, black pudding with patron pepper, and fried aubergine recommended by the waitress. Jack described the first tapas as 'stunning'. All dishes scored between seven and nine and a half out of ten.

Jack praised the restaurant: "I love this place. We bumped into a lady from Yate... she recommended this place. So big up to you. You're a legend. Definitely return here. The staff are lovely. Food is really good. And yeah, they do a good sangria and it's so cheap." The total bill was €10.

Online Debate Over Authenticity

Viewers shared mixed reactions. One commented: "Been going there for years." Another said: "I always went there and loved the tapas." A third added: "Go there all the time when am in Benidorm, great place." However, some questioned whether the food qualified as tapas, with one saying: "Bro this couldn’t be further from tapas." Another noted: "Its mainly bread but for the price it will fill you up."

The video sparked a broader discussion about affordable dining in tourist hotspots, with the couple's experience highlighting the value available in Benidorm.
