Quiz Clothing Begins Closing 37 Stores Across UK - Full List of Shops
Quiz Clothing Closes 37 UK Stores - Full List

High street retailer Quiz Clothing has begun shutting down all its stores across the United Kingdom. The company entered administration for the second time in a year on February 5, 2026, leading to the closure of 37 shops and redundancy for 109 head office and warehouse staff, with hundreds more jobs at risk.

Clearance Sales Underway

Administrators from Interpath are pushing to clear all remaining stock, with most items now priced under £10. Storefronts display "everything must go" signs, and the website states that "all remaining stock must be cleared" and that all purchases are final due to the nature of the sale.

Despite the closures, all 40 Quiz stores will continue to receive new stock and integrate it into shops until they close. The retailer's concessions inside New Look and Matalan stores in the UK are not affected by this administration and will continue trading normally.

Background

Quiz first collapsed into administration in February 2025 but was immediately bought by a subsidiary of the founding Ramzan family. However, the retailer fell into administration again a year later. Alistair McAlinden, joint administrator and head of Interpath in Scotland, said: "With Quiz, the latest retailer to fall into administration, there's no doubt it's been a tough start to 2026 for the UK High Street. It's our intention to continue to trade all stores and the concessions in Ireland as a going concern for as long as we can while we assess options for the business."

Interpath noted that in-store discounts had led to "extremely positive" trading in mid-February, but the online store ceased trading shortly after the administration appointment. Affected staff will receive support during this difficult time.
