Kit Margetson is a 6ft 4in Wales Under-21 international who joined Swansea's academy at Under-15 level. Despite never making a senior appearance for the Championship club, he gained valuable first-team experience last season on loan at Connah's Quay Nomads in the Cymru Premier, where he made 34 appearances, kept 10 clean sheets, and helped the team qualify for European competition.

Martyn Margetson, his father, is a well-respected figure who previously served as head of goalkeeping for England, Wales, and Swansea City. He left his role at Swansea at the end of last season.
