Aberdeen have rejected multiple bids from Hungarian club Debrecen for Finnish winger Topi Keskinen, with the 23-year-old reportedly open to leaving Pittodrie this summer.
Debrecen Bids Fall Short
Debrecen, who will compete in next season's Conference League qualifiers, have made several offers for Keskinen in recent weeks. However, none have met Aberdeen's valuation of the player, who became the Dons' second-most expensive signing when he arrived from HJK Helsinki in 2024 for around £800,000.
The Scottish Premiership club is expected to seek at least that fee, plus add-ons, in any potential sale. Keskinen is considered one of Aberdeen's top financial assets and has attracted interest from several European clubs, including Danish side OB.
Player Profile and Interest
Keskinen, capped 13 times by Finland, is known for his pace—one of the quickest in the Scottish Premiership—which has put him on the radar of top European clubs. The winger is still yet to reach his peak years and is believed to be open to a move this summer.
He recently joined Aberdeen's pre-season training camp in the Netherlands after being given extra time off following his involvement with the Finnish national team at the end of the season.
Other Transfers
Meanwhile, Aberdeen are looking to move on several squad players this summer. Record Sport earlier reported that Swedish club Elfsborg are closing in on a deal for Dons defender Alexander Jensen. The full-back is expected to return to Sweden, with Aberdeen recouping the six-figure fee they paid for him.
