A huge explosion at a port in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, has left at least one person dead and several others injured, according to Dutch regional outlet Rijnmond. Emergency services are at the scene in the city's Europoort area.
Explosion at Gunvor Energy site
The blast was reported at around 11.30am at a storage tank at the Gunvor Energy site on Moezelweg. Images shared on social media showed a massive explosion at the location.
Rijnmond reported the casualties, but further details about the injured have not yet been released. The cause of the explosion is not yet known.
