The A48 in Bridgend is partially closed following a vehicle fire, with police at the scene.
Road closures and lane restrictions
Both lanes of the dual carriageway are closed from the Pyle junction at Stormy Down to the A4106 junction. From the A4106 roundabout to the Pyle roundabout, the road is down to one lane.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
Police statement
A spokesperson from South Wales Police said: "We're at the scene of a vehicle fire on the A48 Bridgend. Both lanes of the dual carriageway are currently closed from the Pyle junction of Stormy Down to the junction of A4106. From the roundabout with the junction of A4106 to the Pyle roundabout this is down to one lane. Please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Thank you for your patience."
