National Lottery Lotto Results: £2M Jackpot for Tonight's Draw
National Lottery Lotto Results: £2M Jackpot Tonight

A life-changing jackpot of £2M could be won in tonight's Lotto draw. It comes after Saturday's Lotto draw (July 18) saw a whopping £9.5M handed out in a 'Must Be Won' game.

This huge £2M jackpot could be won by one lucky person if they manage to match all six numbers. But some cash can still be won by matching some of the numbers drawn. Matching five main numbers plus the bonus ball will win players a chunky sum of £1,000,000, whereas matching five main numbers will secure you £1,750.

New Lotto Game Format

As of last month, each Lotto draw now comprises of two separate rounds, with all players automatically entered into both draws with one ticket. In the new Lotto game, players buy their £2 ticket in the same way. In the first round, a set of 59 balls are entered into the draw machine. Six balls are drawn plus the Bonus Ball, and if you match two or more numbers from your Lotto line you win some cash.

Then, a second set of 59 balls are entered into the second draw machine, six balls are drawn plus the Bonus Ball, and the same rule applies - if you match 2 or more numbers from your same Lotto line you will win some cash.

Thunderball and Other Draws

On top of the jackpot Lotto prize, one person could also win up to £500,000 in the Thunderball game taking place at 8.15pm, shortly after the Lotto draw which takes place at 8pm. To be in with a chance of winning, you must have bought a ticket by 7.30pm. Tickets cost £2.

Tonight's draw takes place at 8pm, with the Thunderball draw then at 8.15pm. A Lotto draw takes place every Wednesday and Saturday, a EuroMillions on Tuesday and Friday each week, plus a Set For Life every Monday and Thursday.
