Located in Cumbria, near the Scottish border, this enchanting spot is renowned for its stunning scenery and historic cottages, including the former home of poet William Wordsworth.

TripAdvisor revealed the top UK destinations by analyzing searches on the site between February and April 2026 for travel between June and August. The rankings were based on year-on-year growth in search interest.
