easyJet has launched two new flight routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, connecting passengers to Seville and Naples. The announcement coincides with the arrival of the airline's ninth aircraft at the airport, a 186-seat Airbus A320.
Expanding Network
The new routes provide direct access to the two southern European cities, adding to easyJet's existing network of destinations across Europe and North Africa from Liverpool. The airline has operated from the airport since 1997.
Paul Winfield, director of aviation development at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, said: "The arrival of easyJet's ninth based aircraft at Liverpool John Lennon Airport is another significant milestone in our long-standing partnership and demonstrates the airline's continued confidence in Liverpool and the wider North West market."
Strengthening Connectivity
Winfield added: "The launch of new routes to Seville and Naples further strengthens the range of destinations available to our passengers and provides even greater choice for both leisure travellers and those visiting friends and family."
Kevin Doyle, easyJet's UK country manager, said: "We are delighted to be celebrating the arrival of our ninth aircraft at Liverpool, alongside the launch of our inaugural flights to Seville and Naples."
