A fun family holiday turned into a nightmare for British tourists in Belgium after an eight-year-old girl was the victim of a terrifying shark attack.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the Sun Parks resort in the coastal town of Middelkerke, where the child was swimming in the resort's waters. Without warning, she was bitten by what officials have described as a small shark, sustaining severe injuries to her leg.
