Visitors can enjoy a drink here or dine outdoors, soaking up the summer vibe. By night, overhead fairy lights add to the cosy atmosphere, with canopies and patio heaters available if there's a chill.

Beamish Museum, with its award-winning attractions, is just three minutes up the road by car. The hotel estate is around 30 minutes' drive from Newcastle, less from Durham, and a little more from Sunderland. The Stables' courtyard is for walk-ins only, making it an ideal impromptu stop.
