Love Island star Liberty Poole has suffered a mishap during Storm Goretti, as her parked car slid off her driveway and crashed into a neighbour's garden. The 24-year-old had just returned to the UK after a six-week trip to Mexico and Dubai when the incident occurred.
In a TikTok video, Poole explained that a friend had advised her to move her Fiat 500 from her sloped driveway due to the storm. While attempting to reverse, she lost control and decided to leave the car halfway across the drive with the handbrake engaged. However, while she was cooking dinner, she heard a bang and discovered her car had slid down the drive, across the road, and into a neighbour's bush.
Speaking to Sky News, Poole described her driveway as so steep that 'kids could probably go sledging down it'. She advised others in similar situations to leave their car in first gear to prevent rolling. Despite the ordeal, she noted that her food delivery arrived before conditions worsened, and she gave the driver a generous tip.
