Tens of thousands of people flocked to Swansea Bay this weekend for the Wales Airshow, which delivered breathtaking aerial artistry. The free event, organised by Swansea Council, showcased state-of-the-art military aircraft and vintage planes performing acrobatic manoeuvres.
Drone Tribute and Night Spectacular
The famous Red Arrows were absent due to their summer tour of the United States. However, a display of 200 drones paid them a fitting tribute by forming the shape of the iconic jets. The airshow also featured night-flying displays and fireworks, adding to the spectacle.
Photographic Highlights
Photographer Richard Swingler captured stunning images from the second day of the event. A gallery of 17 pictures showcases the aerial displays and the crowds enjoying the show.
