A Russian frigate has fired warning shots at a yacht sailing in the English Channel, leading to an investigation by the Ministry of Defence.

Sailors aboard the Russian warship Admiral Grigorovich reportedly fired warning shots at a yacht that approached the vessel this morning. The incident occurred at approximately 11:40 AM and involved the frigate, according to the Press Association. The shots were reported in the sea between the Isle of Wight and Normandy.
