Beef Season 2 Release Date Confirmed for April 2026 on Netflix
Netflix's 'Beef' Season 2 Release Date Announced

Netflix has finally served up the long-awaited premiere date for the second season of its critically adored comedy-drama, 'Beef'. Fans can mark their calendars for Thursday, 16th April 2026, exactly three years after the first season debuted in April 2023.

A Fresh Cast for a New Conflict

The new chapter will see a completely new ensemble take the spotlight, led by Hollywood heavyweights Oscar Isaac (Dune) and Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman). They are joined by Charles Melton (Warfare) and Cailee Spaeny (Wake Up Dead Man).

In a major coup for the series, Oscar-winning actress Youn Yuh-jung (Minari) and Song Kang-ho, the iconic star of Parasite, will also feature. The supporting cast includes Seoyeon Jang, William Fichtner, Mikaela Hoover, and musician BM making his acting debut.

What's the New 'Beef' About?

Creator Lee Sung Jin is shifting the focus from road rage to a different kind of high-stakes confrontation. Netflix's official teaser reveals: “This season’s inciting incident? A young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favours and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.”

Building on a Phenomenal First Season

The announcement follows immense critical and audience acclaim for season one, which starred Ali Wong and Steven Yeun. The series holds a near-perfect 98% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, with an audience score of 87%.

Viewers have been effusive in their praise online, with one calling it “the best Netflix show by far” and another declaring it “hands down one of the best TV series I’ve watched in a very long time.” This overwhelming response made a second season an inevitability for the streaming giant.

With its stellar new cast and a tantalising new premise set in the world of wealth and power, 'Beef' season two is poised to be another essential streaming event when it arrives this spring.
