ARC Raiders Cheating Crisis: Nadeshot Brands It 'Worse Than Call of Duty'
Streamer Nadeshot Slams ARC Raiders Cheating Problem

Popular Twitch streamer and 100 Thieves founder, Nadeshot, has launched a blistering attack on the state of cheating within the hit extraction shooter ARC Raiders, describing the current player experience as "hell".

Nadeshot's Scathing Critique

In a lengthy post on X on 07 January 2026, the influencer, whose real name is Matthew Haag, expressed a deep conflict. He declared ARC Raiders as potentially one of his top ten favourite games of all time, but said his enjoyment is being destroyed by rampant cheating.

"My experience on ARC Raiders over the last week has been hell," Nadeshot admitted. He went on to make the striking claim that the "egregious amount of cheating genuinely might be worse than peak Call of Duty."

Encountering 'Invincible' Opponents

The streamer detailed specific issues plaguing his gameplay. He reported consistently encountering players with suspiciously perfect aim or who appeared to be invincible, often linked to new or banned accounts.

"I can't get through an entire raid without a Steam profile that is Level 0 or an account that has multiple game and VAC bans on record," he explained. This has led to immense frustration, with hours of looting and crafting being wiped out repeatedly by suspected cheaters.

Plea to Developers Embark Studios

Nadeshot did not just criticise; he offered direct suggestions to the game's developer, Embark Studios. His proposals included taking legal action against the sellers of cheat software and enforcing a much stronger anti-cheat system.

"I'm at war and I'm getting absolutely pummelled for eight hours straight every day," he stated, highlighting the intensity of the problem at high levels of play. While acknowledging many players might not have the same experience, he warned that cheating in video games may have reached a tipping point where developers struggle to keep pace.

Community Concern and Developer Silence

Cheating has become a growing topic of discussion within the ARC Raiders community as the game's popularity surges. Despite Nadeshot's high-profile comments, Embark Studios has not yet issued a public response to address the specific concerns raised.

The situation presents a significant challenge for the studio, which must balance maintaining a fair playing field while supporting the game's rapidly expanding player base.
