PS Plus January 2026 Games: Reveal Time & Leaks

Sony is poised to officially unveil the next wave of titles for its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers, following early leaks that have set the gaming community abuzz. The announcement comes after a lukewarm reception to the PS Plus Essential games for January 2026, with subscribers hoping for a more compelling selection this time around.

Reveal Schedule and Leaked Line-Up

The wait for confirmation is nearly over. Sony will officially announce the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games at 4.30pm GMT on Tuesday, January 14, 2026. For international audiences, this translates to 8.30am PDT / 11.30am EDT in the United States and 5.30pm CET across Europe.

According to a report from Dealabs, the flagship addition to the Extra catalogue is expected to be the critically acclaimed survival horror title, Resident Evil Village. It is reportedly set to be joined by a diverse roster including Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, The Exit 8, and Art of Rally.

What's Coming and What's Leaving

All newly announced games will become available for subscribers to download and play on the morning of January 20, 2026. However, this date also marks the departure of several titles from the service's library.

Notably, Like A Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name is among the games scheduled for removal. It will be joined by Sayonara Wild Hearts, Monopoly Plus, and SD Gundam Battle Alliance, which will all leave the PS Plus catalogue on the same day.

Premium Classics and Final Thoughts

For subscribers on the Premium tier, a classic is rumoured to be making a return. The iconic Bandai Namco arcade racing game, Ridge Racer, is anticipated to join the Classics catalogue on January 20.

While the leaked list points to a solid month for the service, fans will be hoping for a few more surprise additions when Sony makes the official announcement. The confirmed reveal time ensures that the PlayStation community won't be left in suspense for much longer regarding the full January 2026 line-up.
