Six rival deals that beat Amazon Prime Day 2026
Six rival deals that beat Amazon Prime Day 2026

While millions of shoppers are refreshing Amazon’s Prime Day lightning deals, our tech team has spent the last day comparing prices — and we’ve bagged tech for significantly less. Using a simple deal-stacking trick with TopCashback, we’ve picked out ways to beat Amazon’s own Kindle price, Echo Dot and Fire TV Stick. The gogglebox gadget falls below £5 without a lesser-known tip, compared to Amazon’s sale price of £19.99.

Tech fans can also get a brand-new pair of Apple AirPods 5, worth £120, for free when buying the latest iPhone. This £9.37 JLab wireless earphone deal we spotted proves that shopping around is key, which can also be said for the HUAWEI Band 10 Smartwatch - this one doesn’t involve any deal stacking or cashback, it’s simply £6 cheaper.

Amazon’s Prime Day sale is running until 11:59pm today, Wednesday, October 7, and while we’ve found ways to increase savings, it goes without saying that there are some goodies. The speedy Ninja Crispi is price matched at the retailer, there’s an epic deal for Samsung fans as one Galaxy phone drops below £100, and it’s offering a standout price for Meta Quest 3S shoppers.

How to stack deals with TopCashback

New TopCashback users can get £15 cashback when they spend more than £15. The site is used to get the Kindle, Echo Dot, and JLab earphones all for less than Amazon's own Prime Day price - by shopping the sale through TopCashback's links.

Our tech editor, Harriet, explains exactly how to do it. She said: “The Echo Dot is arguably one of the most popular smart-home speakers. Now £29.99 in the sale, it’s already a huge £50.99 cheaper than the usual price. Shopping through the site TopCashback effectively drops the vibrant Echo Dot from its £29.99 sale price to below £15. When creating an account and spending £15 or more, new members will receive a £15 bonus, as well as cashback on Amazon devices, including the Echo Dot, Fire TV Sticks, and even Kindles. The audio is clearer than in previous generations, and music fans will benefit from clearer sound and a deeper bass. If I had to be picky, though, it’s not as powerful as the Echo Dot Max.”

For all of our deal stack tips shoppers can follow the below points:

  • Sign up to TopCashback here.
  • Search for the Amazon Devices or brand i.e Argos and click ‘Get Cashback Now’.
  • Shop and checkout as usual.
  • Cashback will track and appear in the TopCashback account within seven working days of purchase.
  • The cashback will become payable and available to withdraw and spend after TopCashback has been paid the commission for the purchase.

Get Apple AirPods 5 for free

Our Tech writer, Jake Hackney, explains the rare deal that shoppers won’t find at Amazon. The Prime retailer certainly has a handful of eye-catching tech deals, but for Apple fans, this one can’t be beaten, in our opinion. As Jake highlights: “Last month, Apple launched its new-and-improved AirPods 5, and one retailer is already giving them away for free. The latest edition of Apple’s flagship earbuds usually costs £129 at Amazon, but is included at no extra cost with the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max at Mobiles.co.uk. Among the most popular 24-month contracts eligible for the deal is iD Mobile’s 100GB tariff at £56.99 for the 18 Pro and £60.99 for the Pro Max. However, both models also come with a £149 upfront cost.”

Pay less for an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

Our writer Beth Mahoney is an avid reader and always on the lookout for Kindle deals. This Prime Day, she’s found exactly that, but it requires stacking Amazon’s price with TopCashback. As she explains: “Although Kindles are reduced in the Amazon Prime Sale, I’ve found an even better deal that beats Amazon, offering the lowest price ever for the Kindle 16GB 2024 (without ads). While Amazon itself has knocked the price of the Kindle down to £94.99, from £149.99, offering shoppers a saving of £55, there’s a way to get it even cheaper. Thanks to a TopCashback deal, shoppers can get the Kindle for as little as £78.01 after cashback. For new members of TopCashback and all customers of Amazon: £78.01 after cashback (In sale £94.99, RRP £149.99). For existing members of TopCashback and all customers of Amazon: £93.01 after cashback (In sale £94.99, RRP £149.99). According to CamelCamelCamel, the lowest ever recorded price for the Match version of this Kindle model without ads is £94.99. Meanwhile, the black model with ads has a lowest price record of £69.99 in November 2025.”

It isn’t the only option, Kobo is a well-known rival to the popular Kindle. As she highlights alternative deals: “For those who prefer a Kobo over a Kindle, Argos has the Kobo Clara BW 16GB Wi-Fi E-Reader available for £149.99. Or, for shoppers with a larger budget, there’s the Kindle Colorsoft (2025) eReader available at John Lewis for £144.99.”

HUAWEI smart watch beats Amazon’s price

The HUAWEI Band 10 Smart Watch in pink has been reduced from £49.99 to £27.99 for a limited time. It even beats Amazon’s Prime Day deal, where the watch has been reduced to £34. Our shopping expert Dayna Farrington has all the details, as she rounds up the best features highlighted by wearers below. The watch has been described as ‘ultra lightweight’ and tracks more than 100 sports modes. Fans of the HUAWEI Band 10 Smart Watch call it ‘comfortable to wear’ for everything from intense workouts to all-day wear and sleep tracking.

“The 50m water resistance also means you can use it for swimming sessions. The HUAWEI Band 10 Smart Watch currently has a 4.5-star rating on Argos. One shopper simply said: “Absolutely brilliant watch.” Chloe commented: “Very good battery and comfortable to wear, and it has a bright display.” However, one customer wrote: “I like this watch, but it doesn't stay connected to your phone.” And Polly posted: “Bought this a week ago and I’m so happy with it. I wasn’t expecting half of the things it does. I suggest looking up ‘extra tips’ for it on Google, YouTube, etc, as I even learned more last night. I don’t keep the Bluetooth on continually, and so far I’ve not had to charge it since taking it up to 100% on day one.”

Elsewhere, Amazon is selling the Sekonda Track Unisex Smart Watch for £39.99. It comes in rose gold or black currently. While Boots is selling the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 BT for £59. It is compatible with Android phones and has more than 100 exercise settings.

JLab earbuds for less than Amazon

Cathie, another shopping expert in our team, has compared Amazon’s Prime Day deal on the JLab Go+ with Argos’ rival deal stack on the JLab Go. She works out the deal below. “Whether it’s to listen to your favourite music, catch up with a podcast, or watch videos on the go, a good pair of headphones is always a worthy investment. And we’ve found a way to get one of the most popular pairs sold on Amazon cheaper than in the Prime Day sale. The JLab Go Air Pop+ True Wireless Earbuds have seen their price slashed from £24.99 down to £19.99 for Prime members. Earning an average rating of 4.3 out of five stars with more than 50,000 reviews, these earbuds are a top-selling choice with a range of colours to choose from. Over at Argos, the JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless Earbuds - an earlier version of the buds that come recommended by 92% of shoppers - are priced at £24.99. However, new shoppers who sign up to deals website TopCashback can get £15 cashback on their first purchase, which, coupled with the cashback received on Argos purchases, will effectively bring the buds down to just £9.37 for new Argos customers or £9.89 for existing Argos customers. Although the Pop+ edition comes with some additional features such as a longer battery life (35 hours vs 32 hours) and a wider range of sound customisation options, the price of the JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless Earbuds at Argos once cashback is factored in is hard to beat.”

Ninja Crispi Airfryer price matched

That’s the Ninja Crispi Airfryer, according to our senior writer, Eve Rowlands. This doesn’t beat Amazon’s Prime Day sale, but instead matches it, so consumers can pick between shopping through Amazon or Ninja and pay the exact same price. Of course, those who want a speedy delivery going through Amazon with Prime would trump Ninja. Eve uses it literally every day and shares why it’s a must in her household. She said: “Whether it's roasting up some tomatoes and mushrooms quickly for lunch, crisping up some granola for brekkie or cooking salmon and veg for tea. It's honestly my staple kitchen gadget, and coming in at £34 less than its typical price (now £125.99 from £159.99), it's a good time to snap one up.”

While it's more compact than any other bulky airfryer I've used (sorry to my old Philips 3000, £77.99), it's also quite aesthetically pleasing thanks to its non-toxic, portable glass tub in which the food is cooked - and can be stored as they come with lids. “Not to mention the colourways the grilling lid comes in (this green one is gorgeous). And it cooks things rapidly with its four different settings - roasting, airfrying, recrisping or keep warm. Neither my husband nor I are big chef - we cook out of necessity rather than the enjoyment of it - but this little device has added a bit of excitement to meal prepping. My only downside is sadly the bigger glass container smashed when I was washing it up - devastated. This now means we can only cook a small number of items at a time in the smaller portable tub. Thankfully, there are only two of us in our household, so it's not a massive deal, but still a shame.”
